Today is all about Faine and Medusa! This ship is contains one of @thelovelymachinery 's characters, so if you haven't checked out her stuff yet DO IT NOW (or after you're done reading this) Definitely one of my favourite couples. I'm sure you all already know and love Faine, but for those of you who haven't met him yet, here's a brief description. Faine is one of the primary antagonists in WYS and is a major player in the story's main conflict(s). He's a genius scientist who's constantly inventing something or working on some project. Medusa is an all powerful witch that suffers from naivete and a lack of understanding of the world. She's a hermit who never leaves her lab and has made most of the magical and scientific advancements in Creahearth since 1496.

How did they meet?

This was possibly the most chaotic thing I've ever made fully canon. It all started when Azalia (another one of @thelovelymachinery 's character's go check her out), Morgan's younger sister/adopted child, decided she wanted to cause chaos (as usual). So she broke into Faine (her boss/ex step dad) house while he enjoying a lovely bowl of sushi cereal. Azalia was very quick to tie him up with pink glittery rope, gag him, dye his hair bright pink, and cover him in hot pink glitter before attaching a leash to him and dragging him to the gods.

After Faine's meeting with the gods he was dragged to the Creahearth palace and brought to the basement. Faine and Azalia arrive to Medusa's workshop where a beautiful blonde woman, dressed in a magenta corset and black leather pants opens the door for them and (un)welcomes them in. Azalia is very quick to mention that she kidnapped Medusa a boyfriend so that he no longer has to be a hooker and lonely. They very quickly became close after some speaking, Medusa's witchy kisses, and lots of cuddles.

First date

Technically their first date was at Aereth Kaladar's (another one of @thelovelymachinery 's characters go say hi) coronation, but that was chaotic and weird and not the datiest date, it was also the day they got together. Their first real date was to a cozy little restaurant on a small far off world. Faine brought her to the restaurant (his favourite) and has chosen a table in a comfy corner where you can sit together hidden from the other guests on incredibly comfy cushions. They have many worlds' favourite comfort foods there, and it's a fantastic spot to get to know your date. the views are also amazing, because you can see entire galaxies from the windows.

Medusa was incredibly excited to see the galaxy which ruined his plan for the date. She jumped up excitedly out of the booth and hugged and kissed him before dragging him to his feet and out the door. Faine, being the only one to remember that they have to eat, makes her sit outside while he orders them strawberry smoothies (it must be pink or she won't eat it). When Faine comes back out he sees her engaged in a very exciting conversation with the local astronomer where he tells them the best spots to see the sky.

Once Medusa finished her conversation she ran to Faine and hugged him, excitedly explaining her plan for the date. They then spent all night (and day) watching the sky.

General Dynamic

Both of them are hermits and workaholics, but at least Faine remembers food is necessary for survival and not everyone you meet is friendly. In turn Medusa reminds him that not everyone he meets is unfriendly.

Faine helps Medusa learn to take care of herself while Medusa helps him learn to love both himself and others.

Faine helps Medusa force his bosses to adopt children

Medusa is the first person he has willingly shown his gold form to since he left his world

Medusa promised to kiss no one other than him which is a very difficult task for a witch (imagine having to stop yourself from smiling when you're happy)

Medusa left her world to live with him and help raise his thousands of adopted children

Faine and Medusa get married a few months into their relationship and have children three years after they met.

Faine is nine hundred and one years older than Medusa
